Filming

5th Cctober

Due to my lessons being at this time I was not able to attend this interview of Jane a women with a gastic band.

When me and my group next came together i found that they did have trouble with camera height and background sound such as the telephone ringing. But over all the camera shot and framing were all right and Jane answered the questions well.



8th October

Again due to my lessons being at this time I wasn't able to attend the filming of the vox pop in liverpool one. My group were very lucky when they bumped into the embarrassing bodys film crew and cast. They were able to interview Dr Christian Jesson at 12 of that day. The went on to tell me that they had some camera problems when the camera ran out of battary but lucky enough the film crew of the set helped us out when they filmed the interview in a professional camera. Charlie and Michela directed the camera man for the framing of the shot. Overall the shot and interview was very sucessfull



Sadly due to illness I was unable to film the next 2 interviews and the re filming of the vox pop over in Liverpool.



19th October

Me and my group filmed our opening titles in the break out area of the school. We filmed using a stop and move motion so that it looked like an animation. Doing the process of setting up we found that it was differcult to get the right postioning so that the camera leg and shadows were not shown. Later on this day we all went back to the hair salon to re-film the interview with steven the hairdresser, in my luck I was able to attend and set up and film with the others. Once we got there we did have to wait for around half an hour, so I went round the shop and filmed short cutaways and moving cutaways for stoke footage. We decided to film steven in two differant shots ( mid close up and extreme close up), these two shots were very sucessful and useable for our documentary.

20th October

Today had an arranged interview with a skin and make up specilist in the liverpool john lewis. We found that we were able to get 10 minutes of interview and that we were able to film stoke footage such as brand names. We were very grateful to get a women getting her make up done by one of the make up artists there. Overall a very good filming day.
